Magnetic Properties of Nickel-Titanium Alloy during Martensitic Transformations under Plastic and Elastic Deformation

This paper focuses on the processes of occurrence magnetization during structure formation in samples Ni51Ti49 alloy under deformation conditions. The possibility existence a phase with an FCC (face-centered cubic) lattice titanium nickelide has been demonstrated by electron microscopy and diffraction. It discovered that interplanar distances BCC110 (body-centered cubic), FCC111, HCP002 (hexagonal close packed) study have similar values, which indicates their mutual polymorphic transformation. Based modular self-organization, scheme martensitic transformations from B2 (BCC lattice) to B19’ (HCP through intermediate is proposed. shown lenticular crystals appear tensile until rupture, accompanied onset ferromagnetism. effect when immersed liquid nitrogen also discovered. In this case, reason for appearance disappearance can be associated microdeformation caused direct reverse transitions occur cooling heating samples.
